Many cable companies will stick you with a service contract from one to two years and levy a hefty fee if the agreement term is not satisfied. It appears that Neflix understands that people are human and sometimes will need to sacrifice entertainment due to financial obligations or just not pleased with their service.

Netflix Is Burning Up Local Cable Companies
It is no surprise that when a company such as Netflix steps up to the plate and offers thousands of movies, tv shows starting at $7.99 a month local cable companies will trimble. With so many commercials out about Netfilix, I thought I would give it a try. Their product was always reviewed well. They make the rental process for DVD's a no brainer with most rentals to your home in about a day.
Their newest feature, online streaming to your Computer, Ps3, Wii or TV, is what made me decide to give it a try. The price was the best part. It costs $9 a month with 1 DVD rental at a time and unlimited amount of watching online movies.
So, with automatic listing updates, and all the extras available, many people will find themselves saying goodbye to their cable company hello to Netflix.
With no service contracts, Netflix allows their customers to come and leave as they please. Many cable companies will stick you with a service contract from one to two years and levy a hefty fee if the agreement term is not satisfied. It appears that Neflix understands that people are human and sometimes will need to sacrifice entertainment due to financial obligations or just not pleased with their service.
